Alpha- Chemie GmbH has been producing specialty chemicals in Freital/Dresden for over 70 years. Since Alpha-Chemie GmbH was found in 1947 the company has been continuously modernized and products and services have been adapted to customer requirements.
Since 2017 Alpha- Chemie GmbH is a member of the Additiv-Chemie Luers group of companies from Delmenhorst which is part of the Diersch& Schröder Group in Bremen. Additiv-Chemie Luers GmbH & Co. KG is a company producing additives for metalworking fluids.
Our range of products consists mainly of oxidates and oxidate esters of different hydrocarbons as well as refined downstream products.
Besides contract manufacturing for Adichem AG we have free production capacities for potential new partners.
Carefully selected raw materials and flexible production equipment (Oxidator, esterification reactor, experimental oxidator and pelletizer help us to meet special customer requirements.
Our production has been ISO 9001 certified since 2009 to meet the highest quality standards.
History
- 1947 – The Company was founded as a private company named “Seifenfabrik Wehner”
- 1949 – Nationalization of the company and renaming to “Alpha- Chemical Factory (ACF)
- 1990 – Takeover by the national trust company (End of GDR)
- 1995 – Entry of Otto Schümann GmbH, Hamburg as main shareholder
- 2001 – 100% of the company shares transferred to the Freudenberg Family
- 2006 – Entry of Adichem AG as main shareholder
- 2009 – ISO 9001 Certification
- 2011 – Renewal of the catalytic post-combustion
- 2013 – Start of renovation of buildings and production area
- 2016 – End of renovation
- 2017 – Sale of majority shares of Adichem AG to Additiv-Chemie Luers GmbH & Co. KG
